For many of us, the Boys and Girls Club in Pacoima was our savior during the long hot months of summer. We packed our lunches and went on numerous day outings. It begun in 1966 when some of our trailblazers got together, recognizing a lack of youth activities, and sought out funding and facilities for the organization.
